Second Life Lipsync Viewer

Although SecondLife now has Voice Chat, avatars lips do not move. Instead, we see green waves above their heads to indicate who is speaking. And, although this helps pick out the speaker in a crowd, it really is not useful for machinima.

Mm Alder has implemented a babble loop for voice visualization in Second Life, adding lipsync to Second Life!

The lipsync code is now included in the Second Life Release Candidate

The code for basic lip sync has been included in the latest Release Candidate viewer, however it is disabled by default. To enable it, you first have to enable the “Advanced” menu by pressing Ctrl-Alt-D (all three keys together, but not to be confused with Ctrl-Alt-Delete). Then in the Advanced menu select Character, then Enable Lip Sync (Beta).
